So glad to be a part of this project. This terrific organization was looking to update their web presence with an improved look and feel. They also wanted to better communicate what they do for the community here on Long Island.
What we delivered was a easily self manageable site with a fresh look and feel. We also proudly provide reliable hosting.
In 1986 Craig Reynolds developed a technique to simulate the flocking of birds. I stumbled across various interesting examples of this technique. Well, I wanted to understand Boids and started playing around with this in Processing.
Basically, this results in a leaderless flocking visual. This post is a basic 2D representation that follows the boids pseudocode found here.
Full service digital calligraphy firm. Needed an easy to operate site in an aggressive time frame.
Also needed to be able to have clients access works in progress and other rich customer service tools.

This is my first set of experiments with particle systems. Here I have put together a very simply system that basically manages an array of particles in what I am calling an Emitter. I learned a bunch of really interesting things (and continue to do so) with this experiment. I am having alot of fun exploring what that amazing little equation from my main man Isaac Newton can do, F=ma... or more importantly for this system a=F/m.
Papervision has been a library I have been messing around with for some time now. It is a very cool toolkit for making 3D happen in Flash. With this experiment I have developed a little service class that connects to my lifestream service project over at Drupal.org.
Requirement: Feature rich ecommerce system, fun design, fully branded, easy to manage and update.
Result: A full feature ecommerce and content management system. Inventory management, CRM, and order fulfillment software was implemented on time and budget.
Requirements: Needed a fully functional web presence with a full content management system with a focus on gaining visibility on the net.
Results: Some custom Flash work was performed along with basic search engine optimization techniques. This resulted in a web presence that is regularly generating targeted leads.
Requirements: Needed a site quickly that they where able to update and manage independently of a web developer. Hosting and basic SEO services where requested.
Result: In a little less then two weeks The Partyokee guys had a fully hosted and functional web presence with full company integration to email, calendars, and the Google apps services.
